Hailed as “the UK Photography event of the year” by the Guardian, Photo London was created by Candlestar in 2015 to give London an international photography event befitting the city’s status as a global cultural capital. Now in its sixth edition, Photo London has established itself as a world-class photography fair and as a catalyst for London’s dynamic photography community.
The Prix Pictet has been produced and managed by Candlestar since its inception in 2008. In its 12 years, the Prix Pictet has become the world’s most prestigious photography prize. Founded by the Pictet Group, the award aims to harness the power of photography, any form of photography, to draw global attention to critical issues that threaten humanity and the natural world.
Alongside conceiving and producing large-scale multidisciplinary events, photography competitions and talks programmes, Candlestar specialises in exhibition design and the formulation of international touring exhibition programmes.
